Mundis Vastus is operated by Meluta AI LLC (“Mundis Vastus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you access or use the Mundis Vastus website, mobile applications, games, account services, multiplayer features, character-portrait features, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
When you create or access an account, we may collect:

We do not receive your password when you sign in through Google or Apple. Password-based accounts are authenticated through Firebase Authentication.
Anonymous guest accounts are also assigned unique identifiers so that guest progress and available credits can be maintained. If you convert a guest account into a registered account, your existing guest identifier and progress may be connected to the newly registered account.
We collect and store information you submit, generate, or create while using the Service, including:
abilities, equipment, backgrounds, affiliations, relationships, scars, injuries, and advancement.

combat records, world events, campaign summaries, and adventure modules.

fallen characters, significant events, and persistent lore.

Please do not place sensitive personal information into character descriptions, gameplay commands, party messages, portrait descriptions, or other game content.
When you purchase a subscription or credit package, we may collect or receive:

Web payments may be processed through Stripe. Mobile purchases may be processed through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number, banking credentials, or Apple or Google payment credentials. Those details are handled by the applicable payment provider.
We and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:

The Service does not request access to precise GPS location, contacts, health information, microphone recordings, or photo libraries unless a future feature clearly requests permission and this Privacy Policy is updated first.

Local backups remain on the device until they are replaced, deleted by the Service, deleted by you, or removed by clearing the app or browser’s storage.

Mundis Vastus uses artificial intelligence systems to provide narration, gameplay responses, encounter generation, continuity summaries, adventure modules, and character portraits.
To generate these features, we may send relevant information to one or more artificial intelligence providers, including:

Depending on availability and configuration, text generation may be processed using services provided by Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. Portrait generation and editing may be processed using Google Vertex AI or Gemini image services.
These providers process information to return requested content and may retain limited information for security, abuse-prevention, reliability, or legal purposes under their applicable service terms and configurations.
AI-generated material may be inaccurate, unexpected, incomplete, repetitive, objectionable, or inconsistent. Do not submit confidential information, government identifiers, financial credentials, medical information, or other sensitive personal information through gameplay or portrait prompts.
Separately from the processing described above, you may opt in through the in-game setting to share your gameplay text — your typed declarations and actions, the Chronicle's narrations in your games, and the app's internal rulings about game mechanics — to improve Mundis Vastus and the models that power it. This sharing is OFF unless you turn it on.
Shared records are stored under a pseudonym derived from your account rather than your name or email, are retained for no more than eighteen (18) months before automatic deletion, and never include your payment details or contact information. Opting out in Settings stops future collection immediately; you may request deletion of previously collected records by contacting support@mundisvastus.com from your account email, and we will delete them within thirty (30) days. Opting in or out never changes your gameplay, pricing, or features.
We may disclose information in the following circumstances.
We may provide information to companies that help us operate the Service, including:
Check, Vertex AI, and Gemini.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to us, comply with applicable law, protect their systems, or as otherwise described in their applicable agreements and privacy terms.
When you join a multiplayer party, other party members may be able to see information such as:

Do not use your legal name or disclose private information to other players unless you are comfortable sharing it.
Certain game events may become part of the persistent Mundis Vastus world. These may include significant deeds, consequences, memorials, fallen characters, and summarized world events.
We will use character names and fictional game information for these features rather than intentionally publishing account email addresses or payment information.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

public, Mundis Vastus, or our service providers.
Terms of Service.
Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or transfer of the Service. Any successor will be required to handle personal information consistently with applicable law and the commitments in this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information when you direct or authorize us to do so.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use gameplay content to target third-party advertising.
We do not currently operate third-party behavioral advertising inside Mundis Vastus. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by law before beginning such processing.
Authentication providers, app stores, payment providers, and infrastructure providers may independently process information under their own privacy policies.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Following a verified account-deletion request, we aim to remove associated personal information from active production systems within 30 days. Information may remain in restricted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted.
We may retain limited information beyond those periods when required by law, necessary to complete an active transaction, needed to protect the Service from fraud or abuse, or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

Deleting an individual character does not delete your entire account.
Account deletion generally includes deletion of:

Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Shared fictional world events may be deleted or deidentified so they can no longer reasonably be connected to your account.

Where applicable, Meluta AI LLC is the controller of personal information processed through Mundis Vastus.

No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and protecting access to your device.

The Service is intended for users 17 years of age and older. It is not directed to children, and individuals under 17 may not create or use an account.
Users who are 17 or older but under the age of legal majority where they live may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact support@mundisvastus.com regarding a minor’s information.
The Service may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, or content of third parties that operate independently from us.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes.
We will post the updated policy and revise the “Last Updated” date. When required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before materially different processing begins.
Your continued use of the Service after an updated policy becomes effective means that the updated policy applies to future use, except where applicable law requires another form of agreement.
