These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between you and Meluta AI LLC, operator of Mundis Vastus (“Mundis Vastus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms govern your use of the Mundis Vastus website, mobile applications, accounts, games, multiplayer features, character portraits, subscriptions, credits, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or credit package, or accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Do not use the Service if you do not agree.
You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian is responsible for reviewing and agreeing to these Terms on your behalf.
You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

Guest accounts may be recoverable only from the device or session through which they were created. If you sign out, clear app data, replace your device, or lose access before linking the guest account to a registered account, guest progress may become permanently inaccessible.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended entertainment purposes.

Mundis Vastus is an interactive fantasy role-playing and narrative-entertainment service.

Mundis Vastus is not designed to guarantee victory, character survival, a particular story outcome, or a perfectly consistent narrative.
Characters may be injured, permanently altered, defeated, or killed as a result of gameplay choices, rules, or randomized outcomes. These events are intended game mechanics and do not create an entitlement to restoration, reimbursement, or reversal.
The Service uses artificial intelligence systems to create narration, dialogue, encounters, summaries, modules, portraits, and other content.
You understand that AI-generated content may:
AI-generated content is provided for entertainment and is not professional, medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other expert advice.
You should not rely on AI-generated content for real-world decisions.
We do not guarantee that generated material is unique, copyrightable, or free of all third-party claims. You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing or using it outside the Service.
“User Content” includes text, names, descriptions, commands, decisions, messages, portrait instructions, feedback, and other material you submit through the Service.
You retain any rights you already hold in your original User Content.
You grant us a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, format, modify, transmit, and display User Content as reasonably necessary to:
This license lasts for as long as your User Content remains in the Service. Limited rights may continue where content has been deidentified, incorporated into another player’s shared campaign record, or retained as legally required.
Do not submit User Content unless you have the necessary rights to do so.
If you choose to opt in through the in-game setting, we collect the text of your gameplay to improve Mundis Vastus and the models that power it: your typed declarations and actions, the Chronicle's narrations in your games, and the app's internal rulings about game mechanics. This is always OFF unless you turn it on.
What we do to protect you: records are stored under a pseudonym derived from your account, not your name or email; we do not collect your payment details, contact information, or anything outside the game itself. Records are kept for no more than eighteen (18) months and then deleted automatically.
What you should know before opting in: anything you type into the game is collected as written. Please do not type real people's personal information into your adventures; if you do, it will be collected like any other text. You can opt out at any time in Settings, which stops future collection immediately, and you can request deletion of your previously collected records by contacting support@mundisvastus.com from your account email — we will delete them within thirty (30) days.
Opting in or out never changes your gameplay, pricing, or features.
As between you and us, and to the extent permitted by law, you may use and share narration and other output generated specifically in response to your gameplay, subject to these Terms and any third-party rights.
You may create and monetize ordinary gameplay videos, livestreams, reviews, screenshots, and commentary featuring your play of Mundis Vastus, provided that you:

Mundis Vastus retains all rights in its software, systems, world setting, maps, lore, names, rules expression, artwork, branding, interfaces, databases, and pre-existing materials.
Generated material may incorporate or refer to Mundis Vastus intellectual property. Permission to share gameplay does not transfer ownership of the underlying Service or world.
Multiplayer participation is voluntary. Information and actions you submit to a party may be visible to other party members.
You agree not to:

Fictional conflict, villains, horror, violence, and morally objectionable characters may appear as part of gameplay. That does not authorize harassment or abuse of real users.
You may report misconduct to support@mundisvastus.com. Include relevant party information, approximate dates, and screenshots where possible.
We may investigate reports and remove content, restrict multiplayer access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary.
Certain gameplay events may be preserved in a shared or persistent version of the Mundis Vastus world. These may include:
By participating in these features, you authorize us to incorporate fictional character names, actions, and summarized events into the Service.
We may edit, summarize, anonymize, or remove these entries to protect privacy, maintain continuity, enforce these Terms, or operate the Service.
Paid subscriptions may provide recurring story credits, higher-capability generation, portrait features, pooled multiplayer credits, or other benefits described on the purchase screen.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
The price, billing period, included credits, and available features will be displayed before purchase.

Deleting the app or ceasing to use the Service does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You may continue to receive subscription access until that period ends unless the applicable store or payment provider states otherwise.
We may change subscription prices or benefits prospectively. Any notice and consent required by the applicable store or law will be provided.
A “story credit” generally represents one resolved AI story turn or another credit-bearing generation identified by the Service.

Monthly subscription credits reset to the amount included in the subscription at each successful renewal. Unused monthly subscription credits do not accumulate or roll over unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise.
Purchased top-up credits are spent after included subscription credits. Unless otherwise disclosed before purchase, top-up credits do not expire while your account remains active and the Service continues to operate.
When a Guildmaster or another pooled plan hosts a supported multiplayer party, eligible party actions may consume credits from the host’s account.
The Service may restore a credit when a chargeable generation fails before usable content is delivered. Credit restoration is not guaranteed for:
We may correct balances affected by fraud, duplicate grants, payment reversals, technical errors, or unauthorized activity.
Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on the platform and jurisdiction.
Except where required by law or the applicable store’s policies, purchases are final and nonrefundable.
Refund requests for purchases made through Apple or Google must ordinarily be submitted to the applicable store. Web-purchase requests may be sent to support@mundisvastus.com.
If a payment is reversed, refunded, disputed, or found to be fraudulent, we may revoke the associated subscription, credits, portraits, or other paid benefits.
You are responsible for charges incurred through your account unless prohibited by law.
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Service may be unavailable because of:
We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, technical reliability, cost control, product development, or the continued operation of the Service.
We will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessarily depriving users of paid benefits, but no particular feature, AI provider, model, portrait style, rule, class ability, or world state is guaranteed to remain unchanged indefinitely.
Some features may be identified as beta, experimental, preview, early access, or testing features.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
1. THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS
BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR

These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised that damage was possible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury where applicable law prohibits exclusion.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meluta AI LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any judicial proceeding arising from these Terms or the Service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sussex County, Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
Mandatory consumer-protection rights provided by the laws where you live remain unaffected.
Before filing a legal claim, you and Mundis Vastus agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Send a written description of the dispute and the requested resolution to support@mundisvastus.com.
We will attempt to discuss the issue in good faith. Either party may proceed with available legal remedies if the dispute is not resolved within 30 days.
This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or filing a claim where an applicable limitations period would expire.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement concerning the Service unless another written agreement expressly applies.
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our written permission. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the Service.
